Putnam Elms-November 2000

The Colonel Daniel Putnam Association, Inc. was formed on May 25, 1910 as a historical society in honor of Colonel Daniel Putnam, a son of  Major General Israel Putnam.  The Association owns and preserves a historical house in Brooklyn, Connecticut formerly owned by Daniel.  The house is located at:

June 2010 through September 2010
Sundays - Open House (tours) 1-5 p.m., with "Evening Prayer on Church Street" in our Chapel at 4 p.m. - there will be no sermon. Sponsor, Trinity (Episcopal) Church.

July and August 2010
Wednesdays - Office Hours from 9:00 a.m.
Group Visits/Programs 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Open House (tours) 3-5 p.m.

SEPTEMBER Wednesdays -
8th & 15th-Daylight Retreats (Pre-registration necessary)
22nd & 29th-Daylight Fireplace Cooking Classes (Pre-registration necessary)

Sunday, October 3 & Wednesday October 6 - Walktober in the Last Green Valley - "Colonel Putnam's Constitutional"  1-2:30 p.m., see www.tlgv.org.
